A perfect place to study the Bald Eagle is in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. On my adventures in DollyWood, I always managed to skip the “Wings of America” show. What a fabulous learning experience! Eagle Mountain Sanctuary is the largest exhibit of Bald Eagles (non-releasable) in America. Fun fact: The name comes from an old English word piebold, meaning, “irregular patches of color, typically black and white”.
The Bald Eagle with its’ white head and massive black wings earns the title.
